The Ambassador Club is a clever transformation of an abandoned sand and gravel quarry into Southwestern Ontario's premier public golf facility. The Coco family, well known in the Windsor area for successful construction businesses, had the foresight and acumen to reinvent the former industrial property. Presented with relatively featureless land, Tom McBroom developed an aggressive bunkering style featuring dramatic fescue banks that provide playing strategy and definition. Several original ponds were enlarged and worked into the design and come into play in a variety of interesting and unexpected ways resulting in a course that is extraordinarily beautiful and fun to play.

“Another magic act from architect Tom McBroom, who took a flat, otherwise unremarkable tract of land and transformed it into a dramatic, compelling collection of golf holes.”
James McCarten, Ontario Golf
