The Raven at Lora Bay represents Tom McBroom's third completed course for Intrawest, North America's premier developer of mountain resort communities. Following the success of Le Géant at Mount Tremblant and Monterra in Collingwood, Lora Bay is a collaboration with 2006 Ryder Cup Captain Tom Lehman. McBroom and Lehman have crafted a bold and strategic course adjacent to the dramatic Nippissing Ridge just west of the village of Thornbury. McBroom and Lehman spent hours working out the strategic nuances and a fresh bunker style motif that is dramatic and eye pleasing. Golfers won't soon forget the holes that run atop the escarpment and the spectacular views over Georgian Bay.

“I'm very proud. Lora Bay will be a phenomenal place to play golf.”
Tom Lehman
“… an outstanding course that features all of the factors that make a course timeless: a great, walkable routing, great greens and great bunkering. Perhaps one of McBroom’s most subtle – and best – courses.”
